The Warrior Group Revealed
Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.
This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.
What Defines the Combat Party
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.
Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, attacking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.
The antagonist then settled his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks revenge.
- The adventurer knows the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous location.
- The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the team enter places they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, The fighter vowed a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:
- The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and The healer defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- The fighter is marked for death by the family.
This means them little choice but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.
